Relaxing the day after a race.

Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.

Mountain biking: 2-6ish

Pine Rd. to the pond. Up Glory Hill Rd. to Oakwood Dr. Over Rhododendron Bridge to Laurel Ledge Rd. To Giant's Path & Workplace, to Old Minnewaska Trail. Then Split Rock to Shongum Path. Back on Undercliff Rd., up Godzilla to Home Farm. Down on Forest Dr. to Kleine Kill Rd. and Duck Pond Rd. Finally to Pine Rd. and eventually campus.

Fall off #1: Riding down a narrow path with a little ditch taking up one side running parallel to the steep slope dropping off the otherside. Hit a rock, landed in the ditch, over compensated, and rode over the side. I was able to jump off and land on my feet as my bike tipped over the edge. (Old Minewaska Trail)

Fall off #2: Rode into a log. i tried to lift my front wheel to early and landed before getting to the log. Flipped over the handlebars and when I landed I pushed the bike over me with my legs. Minor knee pain in right knee and some cool scratches on my leg. Cristened my new socks with a blood stain. (Old Minewaska Trail)

Food
12:30- Falafels, carrots, tomatoes.
after bike ride, maybe 6ish- Hot dog, Hamburger.
9:00-12:00 Nuts and a protien power bar kind of thing.

The first one was amusing... but then the second one just kind of sucked although I dont think I've ever done a complete flip on a bike before. So at least it was a novel experience.
