Started at about 1:30
went from the gym, to the bottom of Main Street, to the top of Main Street and took the rihgt after Peak, crossed over on the road by Wooster and went down the hill to the entrance ot rail trail, then went up the hill back to the Gym. I did this twice, the first time was easy as a warm up and the second one was at a fast but managable pace. This took about 40 minutes, for the rest of the time I went down the Rail trail going north, back the road near Boces, and finished by running around campus for a few minutes. My legs hurt.
I tried to focus on keeping a steady pace on each individual loop and on the 40min warmdown thing. While I was doing this I noticed that my cadence is pretty much unconscious now, but I still have to focus on integrating more hip movement.
I noticed that the speed workouts are realy helping increase my average speed; even when I'm relaxing on a warm down, I feel like I'm going pretty fast.
Opportunity Cost: I was not wearing socks or underwear and suffered from extensive chaffing in the crotch region and the seams from my shoes cut into my feet leaving them red and sore.
